Annemarie fell out with her mother at an early age due to her anti-fascist views. She travels to Berlin where she becomes friends with Klaus (1906-1949) and Erika (1905-1969) Mann and begins to live as a homosexual. She travels the world, works as an archaeologist and writes novels and journalistic articles. She marries the homosexual French diplomat Claude Achille Clarac (1903-1999). From time to time, she takes drugs and suffers from depression. She tries to commit suicide on several occasions. She dies at the age of 34 in Engadine following a cycling accident.

In order to earn her trust fund, Evie is tasked with granting Christmas wishes to the people who saved her life on the night of her birth. To aid in her cause, she employs Kyle, a handsome local attorney, to track down those who helped and attempts to secretly learn what they might want while maintaining her anonymity. With a name like Chlamydia Love, it comes as no surprise that the young lady in question is considered to be the office slut. Her colleagues also do not miss an occasion to ridicule her when she talks about her imaginary prince on a white horse. Chlamydia couldn’t care less. She just has to jump into a flushing toilet bowl to meet her beloved, the handsome surgeon Algernon Hertz.
